Post Curious e-Bay Item...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=13965

Not sure why the bidding would need to be private...

Check out the thickness of the barrel's shoulder where it screws into the receiver...

Regards,

Pete...

Hey Pete..!

Do you just cruise the auction sites all day or what??!!!

BTW - I'm not sure how accurate this would be beyond about 3 feet..? Did you notice - there is ONLY a rear sight..?? There is no front blade!!!

Pete, the anonimity is curious, and perhaps the ease of adaptability to use a sound suppressor would make this an attractive purchase for those so inclined to skate around the law... what other possible use would you need a barrel with a threaded muzzle? Certainly not a flash suppressor on a custom Luger...

but the thickness of the barrel shoulder makes it pretty obvious that this barrel was made out of some kind of rifle barrel by a customizer or machinist.

Hello John D.,

I have set up my e-Bay account (in the "My E-Bay" menu areas) so I do not need to search all day...just did some fine-tuning of the selections in my preferences and favorite catagories and then set it up so e-Bay sends me e-mails when new "luger" items (and other areas of my interest) pop up...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Sorry, John D.,...not to my knowledge...still need to plow through all of those "Texas Cove" ads on Gunbroker...to get to the good stuff...

Do not think GunsAmerica or Auction Arms have a e-Bay like feature, either...

Regards,

Pete...

My one quick search showed that you should also look for "Lugar". Many people seem to like the misspelled version.
