Hi Bob, they should be blue!! Tom Heller had both original and reproductions. I'm not sure what he has left. I'm not sure what James has in his parts bin. Good Luck!!

Strawed or Blued?
Dear Frank:
It's for an Interarms commemorative. My other 3 commemoratives have strawed springs. Oh well, If I can't find a strawed one, I'll simply have the replacement strawed. Sieger |

Bob, sorry I missed the "Mauser Commemorative" Part. Yes you could have a blue spring strawed, but be careful not to destroy the temper. Also make sure the spring has the same dimensions.

Frank,
I missed the part about being a "Mauser Commemorative" also. I'm not sure if the spring is the same. This is a better question for Tom Heller, he is the expert in the parts field Jim

Bob, Tom Heller has parts for the Mauser Commemoratives. I believe he bought out the original parts inventory from Interarms.

FYI: I bought replacement springs on Ebay. Sarco carries them, but they are "out of stock".
