Default Two unusual holsters

Bought two unusual holsters at the Louisville show.

1. This looks like a bulgarian design, but not the top? Also has a swiss look to it, but what do you think?

2. Cowboy style WW1 holster?

YUP! unusual
....Just what I was thinking! One point about the Bulgarian type..The loading tool pouch looks like it has the stubby type top like a German Police. The front buckle is affixed like an Imperial Navy type 2.

Now show us the GOOD stuff you bought at Louiville!

My impression is that the first one is Swiss in origin... not Bulgarian... but then, what do I know?

Your guess is as good as mine.

It is still worth knowing what the elaborate flaps with snap were for? That is a lot of extra work for some purpose.

Doug, Just a guess but they look added because the ends of the original top were cut off?

John, The shape is a tad different than a Bulgarian but the belt loops point that way? Hard to say..It could be a frankenstein mix of parts and methods...

I too wonder why it was added, you don't add 'wings' unless it is to hold something down / belt / chest / lights???
