Talking A crate of byf Lugers! Unbelievble!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still am in shock that I was able to find this. You are looking at 28 consecutive serial numbered byf 41 Lugers. They are all in 100% new condition! I just had these willed to me by a friend. He was a former WWII Sergeant who said that he got these when they liberated an arms depot early in the war. I will post some more pics later on after I calm down. I also got the matching holsters and two black bottom mags for each.

You have been given a treasure. This set would go at auction for well over $1M in my estimation. Putimindabank!

Congratulations!

One of the greatest displays I ever saw was at the Brown Hotel in Kansas city. 2 wooden shipping crates sitting on the floor each holding 24 brand new U.S. marked 1895 Winchester sadle ring carbines. One had a 5/8" plexiglass lid screwed on top. the other the original wood top with the winchester logo and the shipping address U.S Army base Fort Wachooka (sp) Arizona. It caused a great ammount of disscussionas to there value. Two concecutively serialed guns were thought to be worth about 3 times the value of 1 gun. What facor do you use when you have 48 ?

I just happen to own a Luger P-38 shipping crate and quite a few Lugers. So I put them all in there for a family photo. I then used my photo editing program to duplicate the byf toggles since I only have just the 6 byf's in my collection. I intentionally made errors in the pic so that could be spotted as a joke.

Doug,

Somehow I just knew it was too good to be true; then I remembered the date . . . . . but not before I turned bright green.

Doug, Not beyond belief, if it were just after WW2. Years ago I purchased a 41BYF from a vet who claimed to have found a full case of unissued PO8s in storage at the airport where he was boarding his flight back to the states. Naturally, he wanted to bring back the whole case, but the pilot would only allow him one, and the rest were left on the runway, or so the story goes. TH
