Hey Guys, Heads-up!!!! Internet Feds?
Had a Sig 220 FS on a couple of auctions. Got e-mails from "Marrzie". Wanted a Sig 9mm. Wanted to work a deal because he has a "Drug Felony" on his record. Needs a gun to protect his family. He writes phoneticaly. Eastern Europeon style or Mid-Eastern. When I told him it was sold. He wanted to know if I had any pistols that I would sell him. Or link him to someone who would?
CYA!!! Ron

He openly admitted to a drug felony? What a maroon! He was either a "set-up" or about to commit another felony with you as an accomplice. You're correct about the CYA part!
PS...... I do know how to spell "moron". |

Doubs, I just thought you saw "red"...
I don't like to deal with anyone I don't previously know (except for small amounts of money )

Ed, I spend some time on the Maryland Terps board (I'm a life-long Terps fan) and the terms "maroon" and "Jellous Loosers" are frequently used when fans of other teams - especially ACC teams - come around.
When I sell a gun to anyone I'm not acquainted with, I require absolute proof of who they are. No proof, no sale. It's that simple and NO exceptions. I sell my guns so infrequently that I can't recall the last time I sold one.... it's been that long. I absolutely HATE saying "I wish I'd kept that one!" |

I told this "DIP" that I would'nt sell him a gun if he was surrounded by Indians. And that I abide by all Federal and State firearms regs. Told him I'd see him in another life. And hopefully not then. ( No offense intended to my fellow Native Americans. I'm 1/4 Cherokee myself. My Grandad would chop my belongings off.)
