Thor's Magic
Today I got to spend lunch with Thor and had a really enjoyable visit. One of the things we got to discuss was of course, Lugers. He showed one to me that he just finished up and believe me when I say this was a thing of pure beauty. It was an artillery Luger that he had finished for Hugh. Hugh, you almost lost this one. Just kidding. You will really love the way this looks. I am going to add one of these to my want list. Thor you are a master as far as I am concerned.

Sid, you are right, Thor is a master! I can't wait to hold that beauty in my sweaty palms! Maybe Ted will post a picture of it here,(Ted?), if not, I will when I get it back.

Hugh, I always thought that the artillery was nice but did not really care to get one. That is until I saw yours. It is beautiful. All last night I kept thinking I need to get one of these.
Thor thanks again for everything yesterday. The Thai food was great. Do not forget to let us know how the arty shoots. Sid.

Just a quick question from the newest Luger Forum member: Thor, do you have a website that shows some examples of your work? I'd love to see some of the restorations you've done. I may even want to take you up on a restoration job of my newly-acquired byf42 P08.
Thanks! Tom |
