Luger damage
A previous owner,in order to safeguard this Luger, buried it under concrete in his basement with this resulting damage.Can it be fixed? Opinons please!Thank you.

Yes....
One of two ways - but it won't be inexpensive...
Depending on the integrity of the metal around the hole - it could be welded. The second option would be to remove the backstrap and weld in another from a "parts" frame.. That would be my first two guesses - others my have some other ideas..??!!! |

Those are the only options I can think of either !
Neither will be inexpensive... Probably more than another shooter is worth. Perhaps you could buy a frame from Tom Heller and just reuse all the other parts...

I bought a Luger to see what parts I could salvage off of it. If you think that some part from the frame can help you with yours let me know. I don't think I can use the part that you need. You can check it out Ebay # 1804902669 Don

Oh man ! I haul "mud" for a living and I've had dead snakes and frogs come DOWN my chutes but I sure never would have dreamed of anyone pouring concrete on top of a P.08 ! It breaks my heart !
