Hello Hugh,
Great looking photos of Ted's work...what nice pieces... Can you tell me what type of "special" front sight I think I see on the 1900 ? Is it one of those "marble bead" sights or something else ? Did it come original to the gun or did you add ? Regards, Pete... |

Pete,
The 1900 was a pitted-pitiful thing when I got it. It had a smooth bore and non original front sight. The bbl on it now is a new Swiss bbl with a Marbles Ivory Bead front sight.

Hugh,
Thanks for much for the prompt reply. Having never seen one in person, I am imagining your target "picture" as appearing as a very small ball bearing on top of a stalk in the V-groove of the rear sight...(?) Yes/No...? p.s. Do you have any of these front sight for sale ? Would love to add one to my "swiss" 6" shooter with the faux ivory grips... Pete... |
