Default 1937 S/42 question

Hello!

I just noticed my Hold-Open Latch Spring is broken in my 1937 s/42. Does this spring look any different depending on year/manufacturer etc, or is it reasonably safe to order a new one online and just replace it?

Best regards,
Erik L

Erik,

The springs are not marked. I don't think there is any problem in replacing it.

Ask LugerDoc... I am sure he has them in stock...

Removing the broken portion from the end of the hold open and replacing it can be a bit tricky. It's been discussed on the forum at:

You haven't posted your location in your profile; is there a reason you are buying parts from Denmark???
