Default 1938 s 42 veteran bring back

I had the widow of a world war two veteran , bring me her late husbands 1938 s/42 p 08 , serial number 5531 a ,for me to check it for function and to get her a fair price . i am here to present the pistol and what i know about it . all i can tell you it is all matching , the bore is fair , the magazine is a Hanel smessiser, not matching, ,grips matching s/n 31, no rust ,blue is all original. she does not know where the holster or spare magazine is or if the can be found .

s/n 5531a all matching a local pawn shop offered her a whopping 500.00 for the pistol

I have come across a magazine for a Luger with the serial number 5531 stamped up it. Could this be the magazine you are missing?
If it is please let me know.
I have attached pictures for you to verify if this the correct item.

Nice eye Landrover! Unfortunately the magazines started out in different guns.
Yours is 5531x with #1 at the top. This would be a 1940/41 Police magazine.
The other Luger is 5531k from 1938.
