I guess that 4200 euro hammer price did not count 15% BP (?)..... if counted, 4200 x 1.15 x 1.32 = 6375, plus shipping and import fee etc... then the two price tags won't be very far away.
This must be a gun for advanced collector, who got most Krieghoff variations and not sure what else to acquire. Why not another Krieghoff, a vopo one Cool gun. |

It is more down to earth, really. The bidder got carried away and bid way more than he wanted. The gun is worth about $2000 less than what he paid for it at HH.
But this buyer's unfortunate buying attempt seems to have raised the bar considerably. I'm glad I bought my #72 a few weeks earlier. For a Dutch price. |
