My expectation would be around $2K

I think Mark has it about right. Pretty decent looking 1900. If matching and a decent bore $2K is a good number and it could go as high as $2700 and still be inside the ballpark.

I didn't see a picture when I made my initial response. That one looks really nice, and I would check carefully for signs of a refinish, such as the blue-less milled area under the safety lever, which is not visible in the picture. If that one checks out and all numbers match, it looks to be better than 90% and I would be willing to go a little higher than $2K. Some browning or bluing loss on the grip straps would be considered normal for a 90% gun. I don't remember the transition point for the grip safety width, but the half-width lever, if correct, would also be worth a bit more.

Commercial mags weren't numbered, so that's not a worry.

As I understand it, there were also gaps in the process of numbering grips, as well. Someone more knowledgeable might be able to make a call as to whether or not this pistol falls into one of those times.

If they are supposed to be numbered and they are not..then a bite is gone from your ice cream bar. So yes, it has to affect the value. But on an otherwise nice pistol sometimes not too much considering condition? I really would want to ascertain originality with no doubt though. Is the muzzle crown in the white?
