Brass Grip Screws
I was looking at a sight, they said the gear was all original. They had brass grip screws. Was there such a thing and if so for what model.

The short answer is NO. Factory grip screws were all made of steel. If what you saw had brass grip screws they were replaced by either the vendor or some previous owner with what they could find.

I had a shooter luger that had brass screws, they looked just like original. Of course the threading may have been off, but brass would porpbably adapt to the harder steel of the frame....

I once strawed some grip screws made them look like brass, heck , I have even strawed one side of the screw face and fire blued the other side! Talk about a tart up! FUNSTUFF these Lugers. I did a ejector half & half on a baby Luger for Neil Keller.
