OT-Single Shot Target Pistol
Can anyone help me identify this strange pistol?
Markings: "FL" "M-1937" "Scheibenyusinle" SN #24447x [not MY gun so I will 'x' the final no.] 22 LR cal double set triggers single shot bolt action Crown/N proof

Orv, The only reference that I can find re FL (Fredrick Langehan) single shots, is in Pistols of the World, stating that prior to WW1, this firm specialized in Sporting Rifles and Single shot target pistols, So a SS rifle also seems logical. Tom H.

Hey Orv...
Now that Tacfoley has told us what Scheiben means, I squinted my old eyes at the "Scheibenyusinle" and I wondered if it could actually be "Scheibenpistole" -- the wordlength is the same and "Targetpistol" makes more sense... Get the old magnifier out and check it again.
