Default Question on stock

I have seen a few stocks where the number goes lengthwise.

Such as:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...8036&rd=1&rd=1

When and by whom was this done ?

The photos are about as crappy as mine, so you cant tell much. During the Interwar/Weimar period, numbers were done in many, many ways.

I'd contact the vendor and ask for better pix or an iron clad inspection period.

That stock was sold (and not to me). The seller probably does not hae it any more. I will have to wait until the next one shows up.
