Default Matching grips??

How important are matching grips on an artillery luger for collectors? Looking at a 1914 Erfurt at local gun shop-gun is 95%, all matching except mag. & grips. Grips have Erfurt proofs-both have same number 10-but different from gun numbers.

Gary I am sure you will get varied responses about this. For me if the gun is correct it wouldn't bother me at all. I think that we collectors expect things to be perfect. Unfortunately this rarely happens. At least your grips are Erfurt and not some aftermarket product. For me the luger is very collectible as it stands. Bill
