Default ugly erfurt face lift

there's hope for the ugly erfurt after all. found on the forum where a little brake fluid will help remove the rust without hurting the blue....and it does. a little more elbow grease was required than described but it did the trick and now you can really see the 90% blue left on it. now let me go clean the other little booger!

Default Great Tom!

Next time I go out! I'll have to remember to pick up a bottle of brake fluid!

Default It is ough on blueing and other

metals. If working on the car, don't spill it on the paint, it discolors fast and if you get it on the bare metal, it'll stain, so i assume that if used in moderation (where have I heard that before), it would be fine, but I'll stick with CLP and Hoppes.

Great job Tom! It seems as though the staff at Erfurt, all worked on Mondays(Never buy a car made on Monday, it's a fact!)with severe hangovers from a weekend of drinking that great German Beer!
