Dutch model
I am looking for someone who wants to purchase a very excellent condition Dutch model Luger that is very rare. I am asking $19,000.00 obo. 12 years ago at a gun shop here in Atlanta the owner of shop said gun was worth between $13 thousand and $16 thousand. Please email me at michaelroper55@me.com if you are interested in buying. I can forward you pictures of this great looking all numbers matching Dutch Luger. My research has come up with only 3600 made and most of them being used and or lost.
My Luger does not have brass plate and was taken off an officer one of my family members killed during the war war 2. I also will take any feedback on anyone having knowledge of this weapon. Thanks |

According to your research, what model of Dutch Luger are you selling? A figure of 3600 total production would indicate that it must be fairly well identified in the literature. I do not want to be disrespectful, but your gun shop owner's estimate is not realistic...no Dutch Luger is worth $13-16 thousand unless, possibly, it was one of the rare early prototype test trials guns. Very few of these prototypes were produced, much less than 3600.

Hi Michael, Welcome to the forum! I don't collect Dutch Lugers, but we do have several forum members, like Ron Wood above, who are true experts. If you want to know exactly what you have, and how much it's really worth, you need to post your photos right here on the forum. Regards, Norm

I have comments now coming to your email.
Your choice of using a Poll was not the best, it can be used? Do you know the cost of this Luger --- yes, if you post serial number and pictures -- nothing near what you were told, usually $2000-$4500 How many where made --- yes, a book is on these What year was weapon made -- should be a serial number and date You placed this in the navy section, I have moved it. As a first posting, it appears that you are asking to sell, instead of asking questions. Admin |
