Default Unfortunately I must send regrets Re: WOL Trip in March

Due to circumstances way beyond my control, events that have taken place since my return from El Salvador make it necessary to announce that I will be unable to attend this year's WOL Trip to Phoenix in March. Several personal challenges have strongly intervened and will prevent my attendance at this time.

I hope you all have the greatest time... and hope to have the opportunity to meet you all face to face next year! Though disappointed I will be with you guys in spirit and I am confident that a WOL Convention #3 will occur in 2003 at at time when my attendance will be possible!

I can't wait for the reports and photos for this year's trip to start rolling in here to the forum...so take plenty of photos of the get-togethers and of course all the rare and unique Luger pieces at Ralph Shattuck's!

best regards to all of you,...

John Sabato

Default Re: Unfortunately I Can't Make It Now Myself

John,

I just came onto the Forum to announce the same thing John. I was out of town with a client and I have a project which will require me to be on-site that Friday, Saturday and Sunday to get the palnt back in operation fro Monday morning. This was a very unpleasant announcement by the client that he wanted to do this work that particular weekend. I tried to see if there was ny way to change it, but it appears set now.

I sure will miss seeing the old faces from last year and to getting to know new faces. I just hope all you guys will be thinking of me working while you are having the time of your life!!!

G.T.,

Thanks a lot pal for the consideration of drinking all our beers! Seriously, I hate this happened, but I guess work does come first. I am not a free man like Thor is these day, HA, HA, HA.

All of you think about John and I working away while you guys are having loads of Luger fun. Drink a big toast to us!

Default Re: Marvin.....you dirty RAT!!!

First you bail on me......then you call me free.....What's next????? Honestly....you are the best friend in the world and I will dearly miss seeing you at WOL, as we only get together once a year there. But the Lugers and seeing my friends and especially Ralph again will help! Speaking of BIER! I bought a BOWFLEX machine,,,,,cut out the bier, got on a good diet and am running daily! (there are other vices I still enjoy) I will look FORWARD AS HELL (can you tell I miss the bier????) on benching pressing a few biers with my Luger buds! I will even have one for Mr Marvin "The Cook" (got ya!!)) ~~~~THOR~~~~~~~~____(whew....better go have a brewski)

Default Not Both of you..!!!

We'll miss both of you - that's for sure..! Hopefully, we won't be too engrossed to shoot some pictures for you, though (if we ALL remember to bring our camera's - Right ~Thor~ ).

Seriously - you two will be especially missed...

The previous post requires Flash player. See http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?/P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash. This is a really neat player that everyone should load for the various animations, it works best with Netscape, or Netscape compatable browsers. It is only 311k and takes about a minute to download.
