Default Polizei markings on a DWM 1920 with Schiwy safety?

Anyone know something about this marking?

Thank you!

"S.Hn.xxx" is not listed in the Prussian or Bavarian Police marking protocols. The style of marking is Prussian and the closest is "S.H." which indicates the Schutzpolizei of Hannover. Hannover is a possibility but let's see what Don has to say.

It's Hannover. Chapter 9 of HWIS presents convincing evidence that this abbreviation was used prior to the issue of the 1922 marking instructions.
