Legit Navy Piece...?
What do you folks think...legit or not...sort of looks like a Popeye tatoo...
Interesting unit markings though... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...fromZR8QQfviZ1 |

Pete, Looks legitimate to me...It's an early Navy mark. WW1 type holster with the Police cleaning rod conversion. I know little about unit marks but I doubt if this was marked in WW2. JERRY BURNEY

The piece is 100% legit; I know the seller, a highly respected European collector and author.
