Hi Mike,

It's actually a fairly scarce commercial export pre-war holster in great condition. Would match up perfectly to a minty 1920 commecial.

Ron is absolutely correct. Minty and rare. This is a post WW1 holster of the Weimar period exported for sale in the US. Like Ron says, sometime in the 20's. You won't see them much better than this! Jerry Burney

Default Holster

My only complaint is he's trying to pass it off as a WWII Original.

I've also seen several types of WW1 era dated military holsters marked "Germany" and sold as surplus commerically after WW1. Even once had a M1906 M2 type hoster, marked Germany & 1920 inside. TH

It'sobvious he dosen't really know anything about holsters, much less this one. I don't think from his description he's trying to "pass it off "as something it's not intentionally. I have seen many on this Forum, including me , who don't know what a particular holster is exactly and rely on help from those who do.
Pretty much up to the buyer to know what he's buying I think....If I was looking for this era holster I would bid to get it.
