>30 luger Winchester brass
I just bought some Winchester brass in 30 luger. I seated some .308 heads and they will not hold. I did everything I factory crimper, tapered crimped and even tried resizing. I tried some fiocci brass there were no problems. Any help would be appreiciated. Thanks Joe.

Joe,
I've used Hornady .312 XTP 100 gr bullets with excellent results. The average dimeter of a Winchester Mod. 92 32-20 barrel is .310. The average diameter of a .30 Luger barrel is .309 - .310. They have worked well in several .30 Lugers. Winchester brass is very thin at the mouth, so it's hard to get a good crimp on a .308 diameter bullet. Ron

Thanks again Rick. I think the problem is the brass, When I use fired Fiocci brass the bullet holds. Joe.

Keep a search on ebay for the dies that you are looking for, and ebay will email you when an item meets your search criteria. I have purchased dies on ebay for $5.00 or less plus shipping... you just have to be there at the right time with the right money...
