Default 1913 dwm

New to me anyway 1913 DMW unfortunately the sideplate replaced at some point so not all matching.

A couple of photos - will work on more.
Will definitely add a pic of the firing pin which is different

S/N appears to have a B suffix

Proof marks

Additional pictures
There is writing down the front of the grip but I am unable to get a clear photo

1 R H 2 4

The 4 is 1/2 the size of the other letters - no idea what they indicate

The pistol was likely refinished.

The numbers you found would be a unit mark identifying the military unit and weapon number.

You may find our FAQ document useful. Just follow the FAQ link at the top of the page.

I was wondering if perhaps the "R" in the grip marking might actually be a "B". Might have part of the letter erased with the refinish. Could you look at it again?

Photo of grip front attached

First letter does not look like a B

Believe the unit mark on the front grip strap is "1.R.H.2.4." for the 1st Reserve Husaren Regiment, 2nd Squadron, 4th weapon."

That's really cool. I was just reading somewhere that only 10% of the DWM's had the unit markings.
