Sauer & Sohn M1913
Sometimes you pick something up from a gun show table and just can't put it down.
That happened to me recently, when I picked up a Sauer & Sohn M1913 7.65mm and just had to own. Frankly, I know next to nothing about it until I got home and did a cursory search just to figure out what possessed my attention. Its matching as far as I can tell with an original mag. I cleaned it up and lubed it after watching a video and headed to the range. It functioned just fine. 😊 I am unsure of a build date on it, in case anyone can help me. Anyone else have one of these guys? Have an opinion about these?

Eugen ----- Yes, I have a Sauer & Sohn Mod. 1913. The serial number of my piece is only a few hundred after yours. I'll not say anymore about it for fear of possibly hijacking your posting.

Eugen,
I just picked one of these up in January. Like you I didn't know much about it, but I like to collect .32 cal pistols so I bought it. Actually I first tried to buy one off thejanstillcollection website, but it was already gone. They are neat little pocket guns.

George, I also enjoy 32 acp vintage firearms. They make for fun, soft shooting range toys and I hand load 32 acp. Field stripping this pistol was a quirky affair. I am so glad for Youtube instructional videos. How did we live without them?
Have you done any research on your build date? I can't find much on these S&S M1913's. During my first range trip I found the trigger pull pretty good for this time period, but my accuracy was less than desired. But, then I am a mediocre shooter.

A fascinating mechanical puzzle to figure out, too!
