These contraptions would require SBR status, right? I would think it's a good question to ask, yes.
The first one at least seems to have a carbine sight forward of the chamber. One could easily replace the Navy sight with an Artillery toggle with no sight and end up with what could be considered a legitimate carbine?
I am not at all familiar with what the ATF considers a "Luger carbine"
