I believe Vilm's 06/29 designation referred to the grip safety with German profile- I don't think Mauser called them that.

I'd have to re-read/research the book, but I believe all the Swiss grip styles had a grip safety; the German profile was offered without grip safety; and until I saw this one, I did not realize/remember there was a German grip profile with grip safety offered.
