I shoot with a buddy. He stands to the side and holds a medium size piece of cardboard over the top of the pistol, as close to the pistol as possible without disturbing the sight picture. The rounds usually land close to my feet. Then, I hold the cardboard for him. I will usually recover over 45 cases out of a box of 50.
