I think the 50 year rule applies to a Stoeger Luger as much as any other firearm. Since it is a Luger in copyrighted name only, lists of variations of original Lugers would not apply. Anything made before 1972 at this point would qualify as a C&R, so you may have to wait a few years before a Stoeger Luger would qualify. Some of Erma's earlier model toggle pistols have phased into C&R status, but there are perhaps 20 years to wait before the later models follow suit.
