I'd like to take a look with some of the other folks before commenting more fully except to note that in the "i" block, most HK "commercial" reworks were in the 2000i to the 10000i range, and were typically backframed stamped.
HK reworks of militaries will typically have C/N, left side reciever along with the left rail - and possibly a LWaA2 on the right. However - these reworks can and will be found throughout the serialized ranges for both DWM, Erfurt, etc. I'd be very interested to see detail photos of the following, if you have them... Muzzle-end and sight base, left side of the toggle, frame serial number, C/N stamp detail next to extractor specificially and C/N on the barrel.
