Default M4 Carbine Bayonet

The first rifle I ever purchased was an M1 Carbine when I was 15 years old. It was a typical arsenal rebuilt M1 with an Inland receiver and an Underwood 1944 barrel. Very clean and great shooting carbine.
My carbine had to have a bayonet, so at 17 years old I found a very clean M4 CASE bayonet, circa 1942 with leather grip. I still have both the carbine and M4 bayonet. The other day I ran across the bayonet which had been packed away when I last moved.
So I thought I would share and ask what this minty US M4 Case bayonet is worth today? The M1 Carbine and M4 Bayonet are not for sale. I am not a bayonet or US arms collector, but I have a few of the classics. I have not been able to find collectable M4 Case bayonets for sale, so I appreciate your help in estimating a value for the M4. I think the M1 Carbine is worth about $2,000.00? Thanks, Mark
