I think the seller called it the "Swiss Pattern" is because it has a grip safety.
It's actually called a "Parabellum", because Mauser didn't call them "Lugers" at all.
They are stamped the barrel with "9mm luger" referring to the ammo.

But, I think you are right - the forward bump on the grip makes it a P.08 style. Both styles have a grip safety. I don't think there is any difference, otherwise.

It looks like a really nice kit.

I bought a Swiss version at RIA last year for $900, without the kit and box.

The only help the serial number gives you is 9mm (11.xxxxxx) or 7.65mm (10.xxxxxxx), as far as I know. My serial number is 11.005474 (made around March/May of 1972)
