I don,t know, i,m a new Luger owner, but I like this particular gun even if it,s a mongrel of parts and epochs.

Coming from a background of building custom motorcycles, bobbers, choppers- frequently a mixture of parts, it,s very difficult to be a purist collector. You simply look at aesthetics of proportions, silhouette and function.

Perhaps somebody tried to build a ‘hotrod’ of a Luger, but it,s a shame if they try to pass it for a specific authentic gun.

Herr Werle is playing around with firearms based on Luger mechanics, some of his Frankenstein creations might be considered ugly.. but damn if he is not having a good time....

If I had more Luger parts, perhaps I would create some chopped up cool functional ‘monstrosity ‘
