Pretty sure any Mag 10 is Remington's problem now. IIRC, they bought the Mag 10 as Ithacagun was circling the drain. The model 51, their Ithaca made semi-auto, was also a dilly. Its charging handle had a habit of falling out while the owner was afield.

Since I'm not much of a 1911 guy, I use the term in the loosest, most general way possible.
I had a GI 1911 made by Armscor in the Phillipines for High Standard
https://gunsgunsguns.net/high-standard-gi-1911/ , but its modified ejection port probably keeps it from being a copy. To its credit, it has very crappy sights.
