Indeed, Ron Wood is correct about the scarcity of the 1908 type Bolivian model. Gortz and Sturgess, in their first three volume work, page 530, say that about 200 pistols numbered between 64400 to 64600 were issued only to officers. The safety area is marked SEGURO and the extractor is marked CARGADO. The lazy C/N commercial proof is seen on the receiver. There is n o documentation of this contract in existant records.
