If they are supposed to be numbered and they are not..then a bite is gone from your ice cream bar. So yes, it has to affect the value. But on an otherwise nice pistol sometimes not too much considering condition? I really would want to ascertain originality with no doubt though. Is the muzzle crown in the white?
