Walter (1986) discusses this mark. He reports the Stark & S�¶hn Maschinenfabrik reference from Costanzo. He also notes that Stark means "strong" in German, that there was no listing for Stark & S�¶hn in the wartime codelists, and then goes on to guess that it is "much more probable" that it was applied to reinforced or improved Haenel magazine.
