Hi Quintin,
I don't understand your desire to house your 1920 Commercial in a faux military holster. Most of these guns, when imported into the US back in the 1920's, were carried in domestically made leather like the ones shown below. You don't need provision for an extra magazine or tool, since you have neither. You can pick up holsters like these relatively cheaply at gun shows (not the 6" models I show here, but the much more common 4" variety that would fit your gun).
Think how cool you'd look with one of these babies strapped to your waist!
