Given the description of the problem, I'm not at all sure the magazine is the problem.
It could just as easily be a dirty pistol requiring lubrication, wrong or weak ammo, or even a dirty magazine that needs to be cleaned and lubed.
The advice to "get a Mecgar" is sound for sure; but not very practical given the location of the OP.
