Ed,

Just making sure I follow, you think it may have been sold in the US post-WW2 as opposed to a German civilian gun/private purchase sidearm of some sort in the Weimar era that was confiscated in WWII?

I just know that most American imported commercial lugers pre-WWII have that "GERMANY" or "MADE IN GERMANY" stamp somewhere, including my post-WWI 5 digit gun.
