Default 9mm 06/29

I am cleaning out a pile of WWII era handguns that belonged to my Dad and posting them on Guns international. I was photographing a Swiss 06/29 and noticed the bore looked larger than .30 Upon measuring it I found it to be 9mm. The barrel measures 4 3/4" and appears to match the finish and wear of the frame. The top of the barrel flange is stamped with the BP Bern military proof and the bottom has the Swiss cross proof about 1/2" forward of the flange. The index marks match perfectly and the front sight is exactly at 12 O'clock. The bore is perfect as is the internal machining to the frame ramp and finish. The serial number is 581XX and this piece feeds and shoots perfectly. My first five shots at 25yds were under 1" and 2" low from the X. I have found a lot confusion on line relating to this topic and hoped to gain some clarification.
