Eric,

Easy at a high level. All more or less interchangeable if they are righteous.

The early HKs had walnut grips, then transitioned to Brown plastic fine grips, then Brown coarse grips, then Black grips similar to those used by Mauser. There were a few patterns/molds used identifiable by looking at the backs.

As you may recall there was/is a study of plastic/bakelite grips on both Luger sites.
