All,
Well after numerous months, Matt's S code is finally on it's way. I'm pleased to report it's destruction or deactivation has been avoided. A sympathetic FIO with a Section 5 dealer's help have been invaluable.
It joins my two other lugers ('37 & 41 byf).

I hope to have a double date artillery with naval markings, an army Waffenamt stamped .22 conversion kit & an MP40 shortly.
All are local firearms from the German occupation. The S code is the only 'import' so far.

I expect to post some images of the S code within the next week.
