One thing to remember in this debate on reliability is the number of mismatched pistols. They are mismatched because original parts were swaped out for newer ones. the three reasons that I can think of are 1: parts were lost in cleaning,2: parts did not work properly, or 3: parts broke.

As far as reliabilty, the two magazines work fine. Besides Lugers are not noted for absolute reliabilty. If I want absolute reliabilty, I have an Astra Model 600. It fires and chambers no matter what ammo I put in it!
