I, too, am honored to post my humble admiration and good wishes to all who have served,m especially to those who saw combat or supported the combat troops. What really irkes me, however, is how so few of our current school children or adults in their 20's and even 30's in this country actually know why Veterans' Day is November 11th! Barely one out of ten know it was to commemorate the end of the Great War (1). It seems to me that these "citizens" just look at this day as a day off from school or work...very sad indeed!
