Patrick, a holster for a Webley MKVI comes in various configurations..some have more than one loop...so to speak. Almost all pre 1945 holsters were made with linen thread and linen is simply a thread fiber derived from the flax plant. As such it can fail after decades.

Depending on where this stitching failure is located I could tell you more about getting it correctly restored.
