As I suspected, it's a 1917. The Artillery Lugers are very accurate. Often the trigger pull on a Luger is long but not necessarily heavy. It's the length of pull that sometimes puts people off. I've shot Lugers that had excellent light triggers and others that are long and a bit heavy but once used to the pull, they are quite accurate.
