I developed a heavy respect of Mr. Gortz through some European friends. He seemed to always give references/sources/where located etc of his sources in anything he wrote about.

I got a copy of a Gortz letter that mentioned the non-wood Luger grip prints. He referenced the actual drawings and where they were located in Germany.

What a joy to read about historical facts backed up by references/sources and not just we saw 3 of them in a pawn shop, so that must be the way it was back then.

The Luger community misses his sharing of information.
