Gun laws in Oregon are pretty good. Private-party handgun sales no problem, NICS background checks required for dealer sales but its a $9.00 or so phone call, no waiting period. The only bad part is, background check required for -all- gun show transfers, conventional wisdom has it that this is responsible for deterioration of gun shows in Oregon.
Don't know details of concealed carry, do know that it requires training, appears to be pretty easy beyond that.
