Hi Ed,
From your photos, it appears to have begun as a 1916 DWM Artillery. Note the notch machined on the leading edge of the chamber. This a clearance cut for an artillery sight.
Since the barrel and frame serial numbers match. I would surmise that it is a Weimar era(1920s) rework which has had the other matching parts replaced at some later date, as Ed states. Due to loss or breakage.
